Camps will be cancelled up to 7 days prior to the first day. Enrolled students will be offered the opportunity to transfer to an appropriate camp or receive a full refund for the class tuition. Registration fee is only refundable if the cancelled camp is the only class/production/camp the student is registered for within the previous 12 months.

DROP OFF/PICK UP

GCPA is located in a public building without direct vision to the front entrance. Parents maintain the responsibility of dropping off and picking up students either inside the studio or outside directly to a GCPA representative. Students under the age of 10 will not be permitted to leave at the end of the day without an authorized adult signing them out.

Students may be dropped off no earlier than 10 minutes prior to the start of camp and picked up no later than 10 minutes after the end of camp. Students arriving earlier than 10 minutes prior will be charged $10 for Early Play. Students staying later than 10 minutes after will be charged $15 for Late Play (see below). This will be automatically applied and charged to your account.

Students eligible for half day camps may enroll in both a morning and afternoon camp in the same week. Students will have a supervised lunch between camps.

EARLY AND LATE PLAY

We are excited to offer this option for families who need an extended camp day due to pick up and drop off time constraints. These camps will involve creative play, crafts, movies, and other fun activities. Campers are also welcome to bring activities of their own. Early and Late Camps are available for students ages 5+ over all weeks of summer programming!* Sign up in advance online for full weeks of Early and Late Camps, or pay per day a la carte as needed. A la carte payment not available online. Please email campmanager@gcpastl.org to arrange a la carte registration and payment.

BOTH Early and Late Camps - $70 per week
Early Camp Only - $35 per week
Late Camp Only - $50 per week

A la carte BOTH Early and Late Camps - $20 per day
A la carte Early Camp Only - $10 per day

Campers for early care will not be accepted before 7:45am. Any camper dropped off earlier will not be under GCPA supervision. Campers picked up past 5:30pm will be charged $1 per minute.

*Early and Late Play is not available off-site for Willy Wonka & Newsies over weeks when those camps work in the theatre instead of GCPA Studios in Webster Groves.

LUNCH & SNACK

Morning and Afternoon camps should expect 1 snack break. Students taking two half day camps should expect 2 snack breaks and a lunch break.

Students are expected to bring their own food and beverage (including a full water bottle).  Food should not need refrigeration or reheating. GCPA has limited snacks, including chips, cookies and fruit snacks for $1 as well as a water dispenser to refill bottles, as needed.

GCPA typically offers limited snacks, including chips, cookies, and fruit snacks for $1 as well as a water dispenser/fountain to refill bottles, as needed. The availability of these options will depend on current COVID-19 recommendations. Contact campmanager@gcpastl.org for current information.

ALLERGIES/MEDICATIONS

If students take regular medicines or have any food allergies, they are to be reported to the staff before the first day of camp. At GCPA, we want to be respectful and vigilant of all student needs, and will do so to the best of our ability.

At the end of each camp week, students will present a Final Class Demonstration to show the skills and repertoire they have learned throughout their course. This is not intended to be a polished production-level performance, but rather an opportunity to show what has been learned and to grow from the opportunity to perform. Until further notice, all demonstrations will be recorded during the final camp or class and provided to families to watch from home on their own time.
