GCPA ACCOUNT

All students must now create an account to register for GCPA programming. There may be one account per family representing multiple students, which will allow families to take advantage of multiple-class pricing discounts (see pricing schedule below)! Accounts must be created before registration may be completed. Students wishing to enroll in Level 2 classes must create an account in order to be approved for Level 2 registration (see leveling information below). REGISTRATION FEE 

GCPA charges a nonrefundable registration fee of $20 per student per year, due upon registration. Families enrolling more than one student at a time are charged a nonrefundable family registration fee of $30 per year.

CAMP FEES

Half Day Camps run 1 week with a total cost of $140 per camp. Full Day Camps run 1 week with a total cost of $270 per camp. Students eligible for Half Day Camps may enroll in both a morning and afternoon camp in the same week. Students will have a supervised lunch between camps.

DROP OFF/PICK UP

GCPA is located in a public building without direct vision to the front entrance. Parents maintain the responsibility of dropping off and picking up students from inside the GCPA studios. Students under the age of 10 will not be permitted to leave the classroom at the end of the day without an authorized adult signing them out of the classroom.

A GCPA representative will be at the studio beginning at 8:30am. Students may be dropped off no earlier than 15 minutes prior to the start of camp (8:45am for all camps) and picked up no later than 15 minutes after the end of camp (3:15pm for camps ending at 3pm and 4:15pm for camps ending at 4pm). Complimentary early drop off/late pick up can be provided for a limited number of students upon request. Slots will be given on a first come, first served basis. To request early drop off/late-pick up, email Kristianna at kpirrie@gcpastl.org.

LUNCH/SNACK

Morning and Afternoon camps should expect 1 snack break. Full day camps (or 2 half day camps) should expect 2 snack breaks and a lunch break.

Students are expected to bring their own food and beverage (including a full water bottle).  Food should not need refrigeration or reheating. GCPA has limited snacks, including chips, cookies and fruit snacks for $1 as well as a water dispenser to refill bottles, as needed.

ALLERGIES/MEDICATIONS

If students take regular medicines or have any food allergies, they are to be reported to the staff before the first day of camp. At GCPA, we want to be respectful and vigilant of all student needs, and will do so to the best of our ability.

At the end of each session, students will present a Final Class Demonstration to show the skills and repertoire they have learned throughout their course. This is not intended to be a polished production-level performance, but rather an opportunity to show what has been learned and to grow from the opportunity to perform for an audience. Family and friends are invited to attend all Finale Camp Demonstrations. Demonstrations take place at our Webster location. A more detailed schedule of these demonstrations will be communicated on Thursday of each camp.

Our dress code is designed to give performers ease of movement and physical expression. Please let us know if you have questions, needs, or concerns regarding these requirements.

ACTING CAMPS (Marvelous DComics, Spells on Stage)

  • Comfortable clothes which allow for movement
  • Closed-toe shoes

MUSICAL THEATRE CAMPS (Audition Prep, Gateway to Broadway, Musical Theatre Scene Study, Royalty Academy, Snowman Stories, Troll Tales)

  • Comfortable clothes which allow for movement
  • Closed-toe shoes, preferably a jazz or dance shoe
  • Hair pulled away from face

MUSICAL THEATRE DANCE, JAZZ & HIP HOP (Gateway’s Got Talent, Pop Diva Legends)

  • Jazz or Athletic pants reaching past the knee
  • Fitted top
  • Split sole jazz shoes or bare feet

WITHDRAWALS

All transfer and withdrawal requests require an email sent to kpirrie@gcpastl.org. Students may transfer to another camp up to 1 week prior to the start date at no additional no charge, subject to availability.

Withdrawals are permitted for a full refund (less the registration fee) 3 weeks prior to your camp start date.  Withdrawals are permitted with a 50% refund (less the registration fee) 2 weeks prior to your camp date.  Withdrawals 1 week or less from your camp date are non-refundable.

Cancellations

GCPA may cancel a camp due to low enrollment. Low enrollment camps will be notified 14 days prior to the first day that their camp is low enrollment. Camps will be cancelled up to 7 days prior to the first day. Enrolled students will be offered the opportunity to transfer to an appropriate camp or receive a full refund for the class tuition.  Registration fee is only refundable if the cancelled camp is the only class/production/camp the student is registered for within the previous 12 months.


INCLEMENT WEATHER
 

GCPA follows the Webster School District for delays and cancellations of daytime programming due to inclement weather. Cancellations of evening programming will be announced no later than one hour prior to the start of class. Cancellations will be announced first via social media and then via email.
