The gods are real, and they have kids… and those kids are in The Lightning Thief: The Percy Jackson Musical, based on the best-selling novel by Rick Riordan. This high-energy rock musical follows Percy Jackson, a teenager who discovers he’s a demigod and sets out on a quest to prevent an all-out war between the gods. Battling monsters, dodging mythical traps, and uncovering secrets about his past, Percy learns what it truly means to be a hero.

With a powerful message about identity, friendship, and bravery—and packed with witty dialogue, epic battles, and a vibrant rock score—The Lightning Thief is an electrifying adventure for all ages. Featuring a wide range of dynamic characters and exciting theatrical challenges, this show is perfect for bold storytelling and creative staging.

This production is formatted more like a camp, with rehearsals taking place Monday - Friday, 9am–4pm, and with additional performing arts training integrated into the rehearsal day. Performances are July 24th at 7pm, July 25th at 2pm and 7pm, and July 26th at 2pm. No conflicts are allowed for The Lightning Thief.

Jonathan Larson’s groundbreaking rock musical Rent follows a group of struggling artists and friends living in New York City’s East Village during the height of the AIDS crisis.
