Night & Evening Classes
We offer semester-based, leveled courses for Ages 3 through Adult, including performers of all ranges and abilities. Our Webster Groves studio features two levels of dance, voice, and acting studios, ready to fill with another great year.
Four Week Mini-Sessions
Our 4-week-long, mini sessions are the perfect way to get your class fix without imploding your schedule. Pick up a new skill, enjoy themes you can’t find any other time in the GCPA calendar. New classes “pop up” throughout the year.
Summer Camps & Classes
Summer is jam-packed with programs to keep you active and thriving all summer long! We offer camp options for students Ages 5-18 of all levels, with half- and full-day options, plus extended-day programs for busy schedules.
Next Level Training
CrAFT Artistic & Development
CrAFT (Creating Artists through Focused Training) is GCPA’s audition-based Artistic Development Program, focusing on the balance between managing training, performance, and real-life responsibilities. Students who participate in this program will receive training geared to increase technique in acting, dance, and vocal performance, to create a well-rounded artist. Additionally, students will receive one-on-one career guidance with one of GCPA's professional Executive staff.
Show Starters
Show Starters is a unique audition-based performance ensemble for GCPA students ages 10 - 14, running September to August, that will develop and deliver entertainment to various audiences around St. Louis. Through this program, students will receive focused training and multiple performance opportunities during the year. They will also learn and understand the importance of using the gift of song and dance to serve the communities of St. Louis in an impactiful way.
Private Lessons
Many of our talented teaching staff are available for private instruction in vocal and instrumental music, dance, and acting. One-on-one coaching will accelerate your growth and provide custom-tailored approaches to help you enhance your skills, refine your technique, and exceed your performance goals. Instructor rates and availability may vary.
GCPA offers two voice recitals per year, one in the fall and one in the spring.
GCPA Youth Theatre Company
The GCPA Youth Theatre Company was created in 2014 to fulfill an import part of GCPA's mission to provide opportunities to express and experience high quality performing arts. We believe that musical theatre, at its core, is a performance art and one cannot truly have a complete experience without live performance - thus the YTC was born.
We offer two types of productions each year: our Mainstage Season and our Summer Season. Both offer varying experiences to help every performer grow and improve, whether this is their first experience or they are well on their path to a professional career.
