CAMP COSTS & SCHEDULE
All camps are scheduled in half days and run 9 am - 12:15 pm (Morning) and 12:45 pm - 4 pm (Afternoon). Campers may register for a Morning and an Afternoon camp and stay for a supervised lunch period (12:15 pm-12:45 pm) at no extra cost. All half day camps cost $200.
GCPA ACCOUNT
All students must create an account to register for GCPA programming. There may be one account per family representing multiple students. Accounts must be created before registration may be completed.

REGISTRATION & CONVENIENCE FEES
GCPA charges a nonrefundable registration fee of $30 for the first student and $15 per additional student per year, due upon first registration. Registration fees are charged on a Fall-Spring-Summer cycle and renew June 1st of each year. Accounts are automatically charged the fee the first session enrolled during that cycle.
Patrons are also charged a Convenience Fee per transaction which covers the cost of processing. Credit Card convenience fees are 2.26% plus $0.30. Bank Account ACH convenience fees are .8%.
WITHDRAWALS
All transfer and withdrawal requests require a CHANGE REQUEST FORM. CLICK HERE for the form. Students may transfer to another camp up to 2 weeks prior to the start date at no additional no charge, subject to availability. Withdrawals less than 2 week prior to the start of camp are subject to a $25 withdrawal fee.
Withdrawals are permitted for a full refund (less the registration fee) 3 weeks prior to your camp start date. Withdrawals are permitted with a 50% refund (less the registration fee) 2 weeks prior to your camp date. Withdrawals 2 week sor less from your camp date are non-refundable and non-transferable to credit or program transfer.
Cancellations
GCPA may cancel a camp due to low enrollment. Low enrollment camps will be notified 14 days prior to the first day that their camp is low enrollment. Camps will be cancelled up to 7 days prior to the first day. Enrolled students will be offered the opportunity to transfer to an appropriate camp or receive a full refund for the class tuition. Registration fee is only refundable if the cancelled camp is the only class/production/camp the student is registered for within the previous 12 months.
We are excited to offer this option for families who need an extended camp day due to pick up and drop off time constraints. These camps will involve play, crafts, movies, and other fun activities. Campers are also welcome to bring activities of their own. Early and Late Camps are available for students ages 5+ for programming at our Webster Groves studios. Spend the fullest day possible soaking up all the GCPA fun you can this summer!

Early and Late Camp is not available off-site for Seussical & Shrek over weeks when those camps work in the theatre instead of GCPA Studios in Webster Groves.
Is your camper a creative storyteller? Do they enjoy coming up with their own unique storylines, dialogue, and characters? Are they looking for a creative outlet that allows them to innovate and explore with others? This is the camp for you! Improvisation is a style of acting that is executed without a script. This is a foundational skill for any stage actor, as they have to think on their feet, collaborate with scene partners, and build their confidence to make strong acting choices! This camp will support growing actors in building these skills, and will also grow their passion for performance along the way.

Feeling Wicked? Welcome to Summer at Shiz! From the Emerald City to Shiz University, campers will explore scenes and musical numbers from the smash Broadway musical and hit film series, celebrating courage, friendship, and finding your true voice. The fun is unlimited, and you'll enjoy giving performances at the end of the week sure to leave everyone obsessulated!

Inspired by the hit Netflix movie K-Pop Demon Hunters, campers will step into the spotlight and save the world - all in the same week! Learn showstopping dance moves, sing like a star, and perform as though the fate of the world rests on your shoulders...because with demons on the loose, be ready for the pop showdown of the century!

Bring your directing and acting skills to our table! This camp produces a student-chosen one-act play through various acting exercises and improvisation techniques taught throughout the week. Once the ideas are formed through the acting exercises, students will explore how to polish characters, circumstances, goals, obstacles, tactics, and dialogue of their story. Play multiple different roles and learn the basics of creating, writing, and producing your own play in this fast-paced blast of a camp!

Step into a world of fantastical tales and unforgettable characters, exploring musical theatre based on storybook favorites. Campers will embark on a journey through beloved musicals like Seussical, Shrek, The Wizard of Oz, and so many more, bringing to life the whimsical worlds of fairytale creatures and enchanted lands. Whether you're flying high with Peter Pan, journeying through the woods with Little Red, or falling down the rabbit hole with Alice, every camper will have the chance to shine in their own storybook adventure!

Break out of your shell and let your freak flag fly where oddballs, outcasts, and wonderfully weird characters unite and take center stage! Inspired by shows such as The Addams Family, Beetlejuice, Alice in Wonderland, Shrek, and more, this camp celebrates all things strange and spectacular. Step into the spotlight and embrace your quirks through acting, singing, and dancing. Whether you're a misunderstood villain, a lovable misfit, or somewhere in between, being different is the best role of all.

Performers get all the glory, but a show is nothing without costumes, props, and sets! This creative element of theatre is often overlooked, but there is fantastic artistic endeavors to be had in the world of theatrical design. Students will design costumes, build set design models, construct props, and paint backdrops for their favorite shows. In this camp, students will learn what it takes to put a musical on the stage from the tech side!

In the battle between good and evil, Light versus Dark, which side will you choose? Join us for a week of trouble-making fun! Delve into the world of the devious, exploring characters and stories from popular movie musical and stage musical villains such as Scar, Ursula, Hades, Miss Hannigan, the Descendants, and so many more favorites! Step into the spotlight, where it's good to be bad!

Perform powerful songs and dances and plunge into timeless stories full of magic, mystery, and daring quests. What legacy do you want to leave?

Where the world of musicals meets the world of magic! This camp is all about bringing the enchantment of Broadway, diving into iconic songs, scenes, and choreography from magical shows like Harry Potter, Matilda, Frozen and more. Whether you're flying through the air with Elphaba, battling monsters with Percy Jackson, or conjuring up your own Broadway magic, this camp will spark your imagination and build your performance skills in a fun, supportive environment.

From auditions to curtain, young performers will experience the entire process of putting on a fully staged show. Hone your singing, dancing, and acting skills, learn about staging, sound, lights, set and costumes, and put it all together in a full-scale production. There is no audition required! Casting will take place within the first week of rehearsal. As part of the process, actors will receive audition training and practice!
