We are excited to bring back this popular 2-part workshop!

Lara Teeter, Head of the Musical Theatre Program at Webster Conservatory for Theatre Arts, will lead a two-part class to help students prepare for college auditions in pursuit of a performing arts degree. Session One includes a lecture on college auditioning and performing arts programs, plus a Q&A for students. Parents are also welcome in session one! Lecture covers the process of choosing, preparing, applying for and auditioning for college programs. Session Two is a workshop to help begin the process of preparing audition material, including individual feedback from Lara.

Open to rising high school Juniors and Seniors
$40 for both sessions

Join Adam Roberts from the touring Broadway production of Miss Saigon for a Vocal Audition Master Class and Q&A at GCPA!

$20 per student

Due to the individualized nature of instruction, limited space is available. Pre-registration is encouraged, and walk-ins will be admitted on a first-come, first-served basis.

About the Class: Students will receive individual feedback and direction on their musical audition selection. Please come with a prepared 32 bar cut of a musical theatre song printed in the proper key. An accompanist will be provided. Class will conclude with a Q&A with Adam!

Adam Roberts (Ensemble) Adam is elated to be a part of this beautiful show! Broadway credits include Spider-Man: Turn Off The Dark and Pippin. He has been seen in the national tour of Dirty DancingOff-Broadway in Standard Time and most recently as Cornelius in Ozark Actors Theatre’s production of Hello, Dolly! He just finished associate directing and choreographing Broadway Backwards.

Join Angela to learn about the lucrative world of voiceovers! From TV commercials to radio to website spots, work on techniques for delivering the most authentic readings and discuss the business of marketing yourself for voiceover work. Learn to record on a smartphone or microphone and export the file to a platform ready to send to agencies. Students will also work with scripts and record voiceover samples.
