It's still 1933 and the story goes on for the worlds most loved orphan!

Continuing right where ANNIE left off, Daddy Warbucks learns he must find a wife in order to adopt Annie, giving her a "proper" home.  With books, music and lyrics by the same team that created the original, songs like Annie Ain't Just Annie Anymore, The Other Woman, and I Always Knew are sure to charm and delight. GCPA is proud to sponsor with Gateway Pet Guardians and Central Visual and Performing Arts High School on this production.

Gateway Pet Guardians is a 501(c)3 nonprofit animal shelter whose passionate and dedicated staff and volunteers care for animals on the streets of East St. Louis, Illinois and surrounding areas. Our mission is to end homelessness for animals in the Metro East through rescue, rehabilitation, adoption, community outreach and education.

Gateway Pet Guardians’ strategy to reduce and eventually eliminate the homeless animal problem in the Metro East community is a multifaceted approach. We depend on passionate volunteers and community leaders to help us execute every layer of our strategy:

The vision of Central Visual and Performing Arts High School (CVPA) is to raise to the highest level possible the academic and artistic achievements of all its students. The educational program is designed to create a nurturing environment where students receive quality academic and artistic education that prepares them to compete successfully at the post-secondary level or to perform competently in the world of work. In addition to the development of academic and artistic knowledge and skills, students will be provided an environment where they learn to communicate effectively, enhance their physical and emotional well being, acquire a passion for life-long learning and demonstrate the ability to do critical thinking and be creative.
